Child safety standards
Barabar is for adults aged 18 and over. Riders and drivers must be adults. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account.
Our rules
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexual content involving minors is banned absolutely, in profiles, names, photos, messages or anywhere else.
- Grooming, solicitation of minors, or any attempt to use Barabar to make contact with a child for harm is banned.
- Drivers may not transport an unaccompanied minor booked through an adult’s account for any purpose that puts the child at risk.
What we do
- Driver verification photos are reviewed when an account is flagged.
- Anyone can report a person from any ride in the app. Reports are read by a human.
- We remove offending accounts immediately, preserve the evidence, and report CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the FIA Cybercrime Wing in Pakistan and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests that are lawful and specific.
